KIBI was accredited in December 2007 by the Accrediting Commission International (ACI), Beebe, Arkansas. ACI is the world's largest non-government school accrediting association. It accredits over 225 schools in 38 states and in 9 countries. The school's purpose is to train Christians to serve as ministers and laypersons in various types of Christian service. All programs of study are designed for ministers and laypersons, full-time, bi-professional, or otherwise. Also, all study experiences are intended to enable the student to relate to them in the environment in which the Lord has placed him or her. We believe that good education (plus credible degree recognition) is of great value in the Churches today.

We believe that Christian leaders need training in their ministry, not merely for the ministry.

We focus on the development of the entire range of learning domains meaning that the best of accepted learning theory is built into the curricula.

KIBI students can earn:

  • Certificate of Christian Training (CCT)

  • Certificate of Church School Teachers (CCST)

  • Certificate of Pastoral Care (CPC)

The CCT can be earned in four semesters; the CCST (a pass or fail program) can be earned in two semesters;

and the CPC can be earned in four semesters.

The degree programs include an Associate of Arts Degree (AA) that requires 65 credit hours. The AA degree is a pre-requisite to the Bachelor and Master programs.

For a free copy of our Student Catalogue, School Year 2008-2009 please come to the school during the hours of 12NOON and 7PM on Mondays, Tuesday or Thursdays. The catalogue gives a complete description of all courses taught at KIBI as well as the criteria for each certificate and degree offered at the school, and other pertinent information is included in the catalog.
